Mom update
Mom's out of the hospital and safe at home. She's feeling a lot better than she was the first couple days, and you can hear it in her voice.
She's got a temporary bed in the living room now because she doesn't dare use the stairs while wearing the halo. The next few months are going to be tough, but she's got the support of Dad and all her friends, so she sounds like she'll be fine. Bored, but fine. She says she'll be reading a lot of books.
