Dear god that was interesting o_O I had no idea. I thought Esperanto was the first time anybody'd made an international language. Maybe Lojban, because I can't remember which came first.

Makes you wonder if there are any lessons that can be learned from this to help in future attempts, or if the endeavor is just always inherently doomed?
